This mechanical instrument, better known as watch, will never run out of time though you might miss a trendy piece in the market in a jiffy, and the craze is definitely evergreen. Watches (wrist watches precisely) are the only fashion accessory classified as a “need wear” along with “trend wear”.
The time-piece was always a desired accessory since its origin back in the 17th century and has evolved from the classic Analog to the technical Digital era smoothly. The little round dial attached with a chain for the coats and so; or the regular strap dials, the lovers of this fashion ornament have been ever rising. The cream colored dial with copper hand clocks and black leather strap for men and women were quite a hit (rather out of choice) in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. I was a true admirer the way wrist watch tycoons bombarded the product line with exclusive luxurious designs, colors, materials and variety. It was more than an attempt, rather a trendsetter for the not so experimented watch market. The hot fit is with luxury brands like Rado, Armani, Gucci, Chanel, Rolex and the likes, for those who keep up with the trends (not with the time though). The second genre is the medium ranged durable and flexible range of watches, digital or analog, under the same or different names like Titan, Quartz, etc. This genre has seen more test and trials with the material, metal, straps, colors and shapes.
For me, I might not be a collection freak but yes, I do like the addition it does to my wardrobe. It somehow completes the look for both formal and informal attires. Watches are being designed in embellishments for the diamond-jewelry lovers, in brown, black and maroon shades for the more sophisticated accessory followers or in bright fluorescent hues, rubber straps, multi colored, round-square shapes, etc for the youth and kids. Watches have been turned into beautiful accessories with golden chains, pink-peach bases, fancy designs and sparkly dials, for the girly lot. The boys have found them in adventurous or sporty product range apart from the business class designs (simple yet quality oriented). For all ages, the market profoundly bargains a good range and price.
The focus during the drift and development of watch designing was for the wearable options to be made available to customers. This facilitates the option to go with any kind of color, dress and gender like.
I believe a wristwatch adds quite a charm to your personality, compliments your belts or shoes, and add another element to your fashion sense. The demand is such that exclusive watch store is a serious business now, affecting the fashion accessory market positively. There are special edition watch launches at different fashion shows as well. It’s actually fun for me to wear a big sporty watch white in color one day and a thinner chain golden base watch some other day, providing multiplicity in these small items.
The price is as small and as large as you may wish to stretch your pocket for these accessories. Anything in fashion, and for fashion, as they say!
